Installed a missing link ML002B and in 'normal' configuration the gauge used to test it showed atmospheric while at idle, and I would assume it was a large vacuum leak as reving the engine made boost much faster (I was not looking at fuel trims to confirm this).  Installed in reverse as discussed before causes a very large vacuum leak.

Token,
What you need to do is carefully take apart the missing link and gently take out the check valve and flip it around.

this should solve your issues.

also leave it in "normal" configuration  Cool

sorry for the late reply

But why is it not working normally?  In normal configuration it is not letting the gauge see vacuum, so if the gauge were a MAP sensor, it would be stuck at seeing atmospheric, and I think it is a vacuum leak as the manifold was not seeing the regular vacuum, as the supercharger's bypass valve was very quick to close.  In reverse it was whistling and allowing even more air in.

If maybe it is just 'stuck' (sure I bought one that has been sitting on a stocking shelf for a long long time) do you recommend some type of lube like WD40?  Are you anticipating that reversing the internals for the goal I have in mind will also 'un-stuck' it?

I cannot gently remove the valving, it is in there tight.  I have used a curved tool to try and pull it, and a skinny but brunt tool to push it from the other direction.  This is what I see after opening it.
